Iftekhar Ahmed is a Ph.D. student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, working on the sPHENIX experiment at RHIC. He completed his M.Sc. in Physics at the University of Chittagong under the supervision of Prof. Quazi Muhammad Rashed Nizam, where his research focused on measuring heavy ion interactions using CR-39 nuclear track detectors. His current work involves developing machine learning techniques for particle flow algorithms and measuring jet azimuthal anisotropy coefficients in heavy-ion collisions.
